कर्तरी प्रयोग - सहाय्यक क्रियापद असलेले वाक्य



Auxiliary Verb असलेल्या वाक्यामधील Voice समजणे अधिक सोपे होण्यासाठी पुढील विषय आधी समजून घ्यावा –

इंग्रजी व्याकरणामधील Active Voice (ऍक्टिव्ह वॉईस्) म्हणजे कर्तरी प्रयोग होय, तर Passive Voice (पॅसिव्ह वॉईस्) म्हणजे कर्मणी प्रयोग होय.

जेव्हा इंग्रजी वाक्यामध्ये Auxiliary Verb अशी रचना वापरलेली असते, तेव्हा Active Voice च्या वाक्यामध्ये Subject ला जोडून must (मस्ट), may (मे), might (माईट), can (कॅन), could (कुड), should (शुड), would (वुड) यांपैकी एखादे Auxiliary Verb वापरलेले असते.

तसेच, या Auxiliary Verb ला जोडून Transitive (सकर्मक) असलेले To चे Verb वापरलेले असते.

Auxiliary Verb असलेल्या वाक्याची रचना

Auxiliary Verb असलेल्या वाक्याची रचना पुढीलप्रमाणे असते.

Subject + Auxiliary Verb + Transitive Verb + Object

अशा वाक्यातील To चे Verb हे Transitive (सकर्मक) असल्यामुळे त्याला जोडून Object वापरलेले असते.

वाक्याचा Passive Voice करण्यासाठी याच Object ची आवश्यकता असते.

Passive Voice ची रचना करण्याचे नियम

Auxiliary Verb असलेल्या Active Voice मधील वाक्याचे Passive Voice मध्ये रूपांतर करण्यासाठी पुढील नियम वापरावेत.

नियम १ (पहिले स्थान)

पहिल्या स्थानी वाक्यातील Object लिहावे.

Object म्हणून जर एखादे Noun वापरलेले असेल, तर ते आहे तसेच लिहावे.

परंतु, Object म्हणून जर Accusative Case चे Pronoun वापरलेले असेल, तर त्याचे रूपांतर Nominative Case च्या Pronoun मध्ये पुढीलप्रमाणे करावे.

नियम २ (दुसरे स्थान)

दुसऱ्या स्थानी वाक्यातील Auxiliary Verb जसेच्या तसे लिहावे.

नियम ३ (तिसरे स्थान)

तिसऱ्या स्थानी वाक्यातील be लिहावे.

नियम ४ (चौथे स्थान)

चौथ्या स्थानी वाक्यातील पहिल्या भागातील transitive verb चे Past Participle म्हणजे तिसरे रूप लिहावे.

नियम ५ (पाचवे स्थान)

पाचव्या स्थानी वाक्यातील उरलेले शब्द लिहावेत.

नियम ६ (सहावे स्थान)

सहाव्या स्थानी by हे Preposition लिहावे.

नियम ७ (सातवे स्थान)

सातव्या स्थानी वाक्यातील Subject लिहावा.

Subject म्हणून जर एखादे Noun वापरलेले असेल, तर ते आहे तसेच लिहावे.

परंतु, Subject म्हणून जर Nominative Case चे Pronoun वापरलेले असेल, तर त्याचे रूपांतर Accusative Case च्या Pronoun मध्ये पुढीलप्रमाणे करावे.

Active Voice The students might complete the exercise tomorrow.
Passive Voice The exercise might be completed tomorrow by the students.
